Through the BOOST Science Program and the Emily K Scholars to College Program, I have the privilege of working with brilliant Durham area middle- and high-school students.
The BOOST Science Program is a free, year-long, program designed to inspire elementary and middle school students – particularly underrepresented minorities, girls, and kids from economically challenged backgrounds – to pursue the sciences
As a coach and mentor, I work with BOOST's sixth graders through every aspect of the program.
The Emily Krzyzewski Center is a non-profit organization that serves as a college access hub in Durham, North Carolina, propelling academically-focused, low-income K-12 students and graduates toward success in college through its K to College programs.
As a Scholars to College tutor I provide academic support for students taking courses in psychology, statistics, and biology.
